Italiana Little Black 5" Triathlon Shorts
Italiana 5" Triathlon Shorts
The most comfortable triathlon shorts you’ll ever wear.
Our gorgeous fabric is incredibly compressive while still being ridiculously comfortable. The fit and feel is the same size as our previous black shorts but now all your bits will feel more "held in." This additional compression increases blood flow and lends extra support to your muscles over the miles. Our patented seam-free chamois creates a friction-free barrier for the ride and the run (i.e. eliminates chafing in those areas). A three inch gentle - but insistent - powerband gripper keeps the legs from riding up and doesn't pinch. A belly button grazing wider waistband is super flattering and comfy. And of course, there are pockets – two in the rear & slanted for easy access. Because a lady has to bring her stuff along with her just for the ride. Pair with a Coeur triathlon top for a complete look!

I love the fit, the fabric, the design! These shorts are amazing!
I am very sad to write this, because there is so much to love about Coeur and I own many of their kits. I love my old Italia shorts, but I misplaced them. I reordered them and they are very much not the same shorts. The fabric is not the same - no more high end Italian fabric - it seems like it is the same scratchy material as the fitted running shorts. The chammy is even a bigger problem - it is crazy thin relative to their other trishorts. Sizing is very different too - way smaller. All in all, the quality and consistency has gone way down. I would pay more to keep the quality to what it once was. I am very disappointed that this seems to be another brand that started small making quality made in the USA products, but has now shifted towards higher volume and production in China. Breaks my heart. Borrowing from the tagline - my kitty is unhappy.
I’ve struggled with chamois for cycling for a long time. I’m 5’7”, 180, and these size L fit great. Leg band and waist do not move. The chamois is smooth with no bunching and paired with a Cobb Saddle they go great. I can ride 3 hours with no bunching of a thick chamois or major rubbing. Love these and will be buying more!
LOVE these shorts. I am 5’2 and 109#… I usually have issues with the XS shorts bunching up as I ride but these ones eliminated that problem. These are my new go to shorts.. they are tight but they don’t cinch up!
I’m 5’8” and 180lbs, usually a size L. I bought size M of these two years ago and absolutely love them! I just bought another pair size M and they are very tight. I think L would be okay, XL would be better? I checked the sizing guide to verify and it told me to buy a 3X. In summary, good shorts but don’t expect to guess your size right even if you’ve purchased before.
